I currently teach Digital Textile Design in the School of Art and Design at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand. I also teach short courses on Digital Textile Design in conjunction with the Textile and Design Laboratory (T+DL) www.tdl.aut.ac.nz My current research relates to the teaching and learning of Digital Print for textiles.
I am interested in the impact of technology on the design process as
well as the changing aesthetic that results from digital design and
digital printing. In 2010 I began creating a series of learning videos for teaching Digital Print at AUT. I am currently refining these and working towards making them available online for a wider audience.
